Below are a few tips for search engine optimization:

1. Make sure your site is verified with Google. If you haven't done that yet subscribe to Google Webmaster Tools at https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools.
Once you are subscribed add your site and follow the verification steps. Use the meta tag verification method and enter the tag under the custom meta tag field in your site admin SEO/meta tags section.

2. Add a sitemap. You can go to a sitemap generating site such as http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ and create one.
Then you just need to upload it to the web root directory on your FTP account (such as public_html, www, etc.) and name it sitemap.xml.
You should be able to access it at:
http://DOMAIN/sitemap.xml

3. Use your splash page and add a short paragraph under the splash page paragraph field. Make sure you fill out the meta tags for the splash page (if available) in addition to the site.

4. Add links to your splash page that point directly to some of the important sections within your site.

5. Try to get as many referrals as possible by having your site url link on other websites.

6. Set up a 301 redirect so that when people type your domain without 'www' they are redirected to your domain with 'www'. If you host with us you can do that in your hosting cPanel under Redirects. (directions at: http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/CpanelDocs/ReDirects).
